Did you vote?
Did you vote? I did. It doesn't matter who you voted for in the Primaries, it matters that you voted for the person you thought was the most capable of being the next president. I voted for Hillary, of course. Now, she may not get the nomination, and that is okay. I will still vote for Obama in the elections in November. She really did fight hard and I know the fight is about over. Obama is racking in more Super delegates than she is. The exciting this is, the DREAM TICKET talk from the Dems. Is it possible that there will be an Obama/Clinton ticket in the fall? That would be fantastic! That would solidify the Dems in the White house. I really hope it happens. I would be all for that ticket and I think that McCain would not stand a chance with that ticket. So, did you vote? Who did you vote for? Why did you vote? I am so proud of all the Hoosiers who came out in record number to vote. They are saying that this election has turned out record voters in the primaries. America is awesome...we have the right to vote !!!!!

GOOOOO HILLARY!

I am ALL about the presidential election these days. My husband is getting tired of CNN being on at our house. As you can see by the title of this blog, I am an avid Hillary fan. I have done my research on her though. I have gone to her website to see what she really is about and I like her. She wants to make some dramatic changes to our country and I honestly think we need it. I know, you say her husband had big drama in his white house. Yes, yes he did. However, he actually got things done in the white house. We had the lowest unemployment rate in U.S. History, gas prices were easier to deal with, and the overall economic status of our country was a lot better than it is now. I believe that Hillary had al ot of influence on Mr. Clinton. Hillary might be right, it took a Clinton to clean up after the first Bush and we might need another Clinton to clean up after this Bush. Be honest with yourself, was the Clinton administration really that bad? I voted for him, I would again. What he did in his personal life should have no barring on his work as a President and I commend Hillary for standing by him through all those times. She never walked away from him and was the wife that she needed to be for him. If she can do that for her husband, think of what she would do for our country. She would never give up, she would stand by us, and help us get through anything. Now that is a lady worth voting for!

Nickel

Our new dog has turned out to be a wonderful addition to our family. His name is Nickel and he is a two year old beagle. Let me tell you, I have never met a dog with this much spunk and an absolute heart of gold. He loves to play and dance (He gets up on his back legs and dances). He loves to run around in circles in the living room until the person who is chasing him has gotten so dizzy they fall over. He SMILES when he is happy and just has the greatest and biggest personality. We joke that he is part cat (because he uses his paws allot), part human and part dog. We are so blessed to have him be a part of the Holley family!
